8th of March. You know the date. International Women's Day. This date is a focal point in the movement for women's rights and is celebrated around the world by people of all ages, genders, and cultures.
In celebration of this international day, the team here at Pulseroll want to POWER our female athletes through a year of sport. Keep reading to find out more about our amazing plans for International Women’s Day.

In celebration of International Women’s Day, we want to POWER our female athletes through a year of sport. As it is fairly common for women in sports to receive lower salaries, fewer sponsors, poorer contracts, and a reduced amount of media attention, we want to kick back at this and make women the focal point.
As it's International Women’s day on the 8th of March, we are using this opportunity to kickstart our support of women in sport. We want to empower and encourage female athletes. Female athletes can often find it harder than men to get sponsorship and as a company that encourages and embraces equality, we want to EMPOWER a female athlete through a year of sport.
This is why we will be opening up a sponsorship deal worth £2,000 for a female athlete of any age and any sport. This extra funding can help with a range of things, such as travel costs, training kits, exposure, fees, and so much more.

Why we want to empower YOU
Here at Pulseroll, we are a brand who love to support, empower, and inspire communities and individuals. We have recently signed sponsorship deals with Sheffield United and local teams such as Stockport County. It’s important that as a company we support and give back to various communities as this helps us to grow as a company and helps to better the community that surrounds us.
Pulseroll is for everyone and we want to provide and create opportunities for women to further their career as an athlete. International Women’s Day is an international day intended to celebrate women’s achievements and increasing visibility while calling out inequality.
Our mission here is to help women to achieve their goals by sponsoring and support an athlete through her year of sport. The theme for International Women’s Day 2021 is “Choose To Challenge”, so Pulseroll choose to challenge you to maintain a gender equal mind set, challenge gender stereotypes and bias, and call out gendered actions or assumptions.
